Terms of Services

II. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

I strive to ensure my customers are happy with their commissions. However, once a commission is finished, only small changes will be allowed—such as minor coloring or marking corrections.

Larger changes will incur an additional charge of 25% of the final cost. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Outfit changes, additions, or removals
  • Background alterations
  • Any modifications requiring a full or partial redraw

If your reference was unclear from the start, you will not be eligible for minor free changes. To avoid additional fees, please ensure your request is as clear and detailed as possible when placing your order.

Trans Clause

If your character has transitioned or changed their gender presentation since the completion of the piece, I am 100% supportive of updating the artwork at no additional charge. Your character deserves to be represented as their true self.

III. PROCESS

As your creator, I’ll do my best to keep you involved in every step of the creative process. I break my workflow into three main stages (plus a final check-in):

  1. Research & Questions
  2. Thumbnails & Testing (Sketch Phase)
  3. Meat & Potatoes – The Work (Line Art & Color)
  4. Final Check-over

1. Research & Questions

This is where I deep dive into your idea—gathering references, poses, behaviors, and anything else needed to bring your vision to life.

2. Thumbnails & Testing (Sketch Phase)

Also known as the sketch phase, this is when I’ll send you possible poses and compositions for feedback. This is the perfect stage to request changes.

There will be 2–3 sketching stages:

  • Rough Sketch – Basic positioning, figuring out the composition.
  • Sorta Sketch – Forms start to match references, refining details.
  • Sketchy Sketch – The final sketch before inking. This is your last chance to request changes before we move to line work.

3. Meat & Potatoes – The Work (Line Art & Color)

This stage covers inking, coloring, and shading. Depending on the commission, I may check in with you for feedback.

  • Work-in-progress (WIP) updates will be provided:
    • If you personally request them.
    • If your commission exceeds $50.
    • If I have a specific question about the piece.

If you request major pose changes after inking has started, or exceed a reasonable number of revisions, an additional charge of 13% of the original price will be applied.

4. Final Check-over

Before finalizing, I’ll do a final pass to ensure everything looks great. Minor color adjustments can be made here, but major edits will require an extra charge.

Turnaround Time & Delays

The completion time for your commission may take up to 3 months, depending on:

  • My health
  • Order of commissions
  • Complexity of the piece
  • Work and personal life
  • Chaos (a.k.a. distractions, forgetfulness, the universe being a gremlin)

I promise it’s never because I don’t want to make you happy. If delays occur, I will notify you as soon as possible. You’re also welcome to check in after a week or so if you’d like an update.
